Welcome to Rebecca Danz

A warm welcome to you on my homepage and I'm glad you've found your way to me. Early on it was my wish to become a professional racehorse rider as I have always enjoyed horses and horse racing.

As a female rider it is not always easy in the racing world dominated by men. But despite being rather young I have been rather successful at home and abroad. I started my apprenticeship in the yard of Peter Rau and quickly established myself as a lightweight rider. Further informations about my career you will find here: Characteristics - Career »

Luckily I was able to place a few "scent marks" as a rider: I did win four races at a meeting at Baden-Baden as the only female rider ever. And I am the first female professional jockey to win races in Turkey and Katar. More to see under: Success / Highlights »

Currently I'm working with trainer Jens Hirschberger and Auenquelle stud.

In Germany our sport is contrary to other countries almost completely out of the public limelight. That's why I appreciate your visit on my homepage which is aimed to bring our fantastic sport closer to your heart.

Have fun surfing through the pages and of course: Break a leg!
Yours truly Rebecca Danz
