Dresden: Victory on So Brave

Today I only had to rides at Dresden. Normally I does pay off to drive almost 600 km for that. But my principle always has been that if agree to take a ride I will go.

There is not much to write about thes to rides. On Fine Girl for Marco Angermann there was not more in it. We were beaten after 400m already.

But the ride for Claudia Barsig and Stable Speedy on So Brave turned out to be so much better. My order was: Be patient, stay behind untill the straight, look for a free passage and let go. Today no horse has succeeded from behind but when trainer-husband Gert tells you something you got to listen, he knows his horses. It was an easy ride. Last place, there was enough pace in the race. In the straight we got an opening - not that easy but So Brave played along and scored perfectly. And all this despite the fact that the ground was too firm for him, he did not galopp that well.
