Yes - Master of Horse Management !!!

It's done!!! After 2 years of cramming and sweating, I successfully passed my master's examination with the final practical exam today. I feel such a weight lifted from my heart.

I even passed the exam with a very good final mark, but this will be officially announced only after all participants have finished. I was the first one to take the practical exam today at our Diana Racing Stable in Mülheim a.d. Ruhr and I was pounded with questions. But all the hard work was well worth it, and now I’m just feeling a big relief.

Two years in the books to earn a master in horse management and thus acquire the trainer's license - studying, organising mounts, and I still had my work at the Diana stables. But I must say, it feels really good now ;-).

I’m very grateful to my superiors, Mr. Ellerbracke and Mr. Endres. Also to my trainer and to the whole stable team. They often turned a blind eye when I had to attend a training, course or lecture, something I did not take for granted.

World Champion is now also Master of Horse Management

World Champion now also has her trainer's license: On Friday, the final exam for Rebecca Danz took place in the weighing room of her home racecourse at Mülheim an der Ruhr. After two years of much course work and examinations, she successfully passed the exam to earn her master in horse management and become a Pferdewirtschaftsmeister according to the German equine education system.

Rebecca Danz: “At last it is done. It was the first time that the new examination regulations had been implemented, and after two years of cramming and studying, I can now call myself Pferdewirtschaftsmeisterin. But I will not be submitting my trainer's license right now, as I am still an active rider and would like to stay that way for a while yet. We'll see what the future brings. A big thank you also goes to my superiors at Auenquelle stud, my trainer Jens Hirschberger and the entire stable team, who always turned a blind eye when I had to attend courses or additional training. This is not to be taken for granted and I find such support simply great.
